They feel that creating a garden will be a great hands-on tool for children to learn the steps of building a garden and to make good choices about healthy eating. The children will be able to sample and eat foods that they grow themselves. If you are interested in helping the nursery school children get a garden, please click here.

Attention all roadrunner email users! Some of you have noticed that you are having a tough time getting you emails from KSW lately. The reason for this is that when Spectrum merged with Time Warner the security changed. Now when you need a one time pin for your mobile banking we cannot get it there. Spectrum automatically kicks it back out. Thank being said you can update your email address right online through the KSW@Home site. We recommend either a gmail or yahoo address. Franklin-Somerset FCU

Franklin-Somerset Federal Credit Union’s humble beginnings began as Bass Shoe Federal Credit Union with 8 members – six women and two men, each with a share of $5.00, on August 6, 1962. Since then, our charter has changed a bit and our field of membership grown. In the seventies, Bass Shoe Federal Credit Union became Wilton Community, then Franklin County Federal Credit Union. The eighties saw Bennett Importing FCU and Mt. Blue FCU merging with Franklin County Federal Credit Union, and a new branch built in Kingfield. Skowhegan Community FCU merged with Franklin County in 2000, and Madison-Anson followed in 2002, for our present day field of membership to include all of Franklin and Somerset Counties, and our current branch locations in Farmington, Kingfield, Skowhegan and Madison. We now have over 10,400 members in our credit union family!
